Since I promised to be more transparent on Substack, this new-to-me platform, I’ll come right out and admit that I’m not a fan of summer. I live in New York state, where we don’t have the worst of it, but still. I hate humidity, insects, and my appetite is off once the temperature goes over 75º F. So this week, I’m going to present appetizing appetizer recipes that are hearty enough to be a main dish.
It’s already hot as you-know-what in many places this week, so these require minimal time in the kitchen. That way you have more time to spend outside, if that’s you’re thing, while I will be enjoying “the great indoors”!
